Rural Bavaria, 1922. Isolated on a remote farm under the rule of her oppressive
father, Viktoria Gruber begins hearing unexplained noises in the attic. As fear
for her children grows and her father convinces her the house is haunted, her
grip on reality starts to unravel. Unable to distinguish paranoia from genuine
danger, Viktoria is drawn toward the events that will culminate in Bavaria's
most infamous unsolved mass murder.
